Welcome to EnergyGirl, LLC and thanks so much for visiting my site!!

In this welcome post I share my philosophy about healing and some thoughts about my vision for this company.

Helping people heal is something I strived for during my 23 years as a Registered Nurse. I especially loved educating people about their diseases, calming anxieties and helping alleviate pain and discomfort. In the last years of my nursing career however, I realized that Western medicine does nothing to get to the root of those diseases, anxieties and discomforts.

Periodically I’d meet someone who would introduce me to alternative therapies such as acupuncture, Touch for Health™ or Reiki that addressed the root causes of my patients’ suffering. The common thread in all alternative therapies is ENERGY!! Whether it was moving energy, unblocking energy, calming energy – energy seemed to be the key to better health.

I’ve learned that energy IS indeed the key and that our bodies can and will heal themselves if we would only let that happen. Our bodies have an intelligence all its’ own. I’m continually amazed at how that intelligence speaks to us every day, sharing with us what it needs – we just have to learn how to listen.

During every Reiki session I watch as the healing and loving Reiki energy works in cooperation with the client’s energies to choose the most efficient way to work on the root cause and bring balance back to the client.

By studying energy medicine I love learning the many ways to work with the body’s specific energies. By unscrambling, unblocking and rebalancing energies the body can make an almost immediate movement toward healing.

My vision for this company and for this blog, is to:

• increase awareness about energy healing
• ignite a desire in people toward self-discovery and how to care for their energies
• assist in providing the body what it needs to bring healing to my clients
• educate about this very energetic world we’re all visiting for a short while

– But above all, to learn from you the readers and clients! Please ask questions, make comments, share what you’d like to know more about.

We are all part of the global consciousness – all interconnected. Because of this when one of us heals we all heal. Let The Healing Begin!!!
